Interior Design Program
Keyconcept Charities offers an intimate learning environment in which industry experts provide hands-on experience and demonstrate best practices. The interior design program inspires interns to cultivate entrepreneurial values and a collaborative work ethic. This apprenticeship fosters the intercultural competence, teamwork, and leadership skill necessary to succeed in the industry.
We offer professional expertise, guiding our emerging talent to create high quality, photorealistic visualization, and stunning commercial video projects in high demand by industry clients. Interns will utilize high-quality architectural software in hands-on workshops, bringing project visions to fruition for buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
Interns will learn and assist in interior-architectural design projects for both commercial and residential buildings. They will attend company meetings with clients such as developers, architects, construction workers, and engineers to help determine how various spaces will be used and how people will move through these spaces.
Areas of focus include the collection of design requirements and design creation for new construction, redevelopment, alteration, and repairs. Interns will also help sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical and partition layouts, specifying materials, and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, and plumbing fixtures.
Additional responsibilities include placing orders for material, oversight of design element installation, staging project sites, and modifying designs based on client review comments.
