Arts Administrator Internship (Unpaid)
Keyconcept Charities is housed in the distinguished building of the Zhou B Art Center/Museum. Together both organizations work on collaborative cultural exchange projects to encourage rewarding arts & culture programming experiences. Keyconcept Charities recognizes that arts administrators play an important part in the development of new arts/cultural projects, making arrangements for tours and events, and taking on marketing and planning responsibilities. As an Arts Administrator Intern, you'll learn how to manage activities and projects in the arts sector. As part of Keyconcept Charities' continued collaborative partnership, the arts administrator intern will be working closely with the Zhou B Art Center office management staff and the leadership of Keyconcept Charities.
Arts Administrator Intern Responsibilities

Learn and assist with planning and organizing logistics relating to events, buildings, performers or artists and other personnel.

Learn and assist with work to secure funding for venues or specific events
-
Learn and assist with write or contribute to publications which accompany events and activities
-
Learn and assist with handling the scheduling of events and making arrangements with security, catering, working closely with vendors, etc.

Learn and assist with marketing art exhibitions and events through social media, direct mail, advertising, websites, posters or publicity leaflets and attract media coverage

plan and manage budgets

Learn and assist with developing new projects and initiatives in consultation with arts professionals and key stakeholders (e.g. local authorities, local government and communities, venue directors and regional arts boards)

Learn and assist with using skills in press liaison, public relations, arts-related law and accountancy

Learn and assist with taking responsibility for operational and office management issues such as venue accessibility, health and safety issues and building maintenance

Learn and assist with implementation and maintaining office and information systems

Learn and assist with providing administrative support to managers and directors

Curatorial Internship (Unpaid)
Description
Sergio Gomez (Director, Keyconcept Charities Arts/Cultural Programs) is looking for a qualified intern to join our team. Sergio Gomez produces (Art NXT Level / 33 Contemporary Gallery) online and in-person exhibitions for contemporary artists worldwide. The interns should be prepared to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment (virtual and in-person) alongside curator Sergio Gomez. Interns will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of the curatorial practice.
Responsibilities

Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials.

Assist with the preparation of virtual and in-person exhibitions.

Perform audience/visitor analysis.
-
Upload and update exhibition databases.

Assist curator Sergio Gomez in all aspects of preparation for exhibitions.

Provide support to social media promotions.
Requirements

Able to work independently in a virtual environment.

Able to attend in-person meetings and installs once or twice per week in our Chicago gallery.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of and experience with photo editing tools.

Driven and hard-working.

Ability to follow directions and multi-task.

Photoshop experience a plus.
Video Production and Content Creation Intern (Unpaid)
Description
Sergio Gomez (Keyconcept Charities Director, of Arts/Cultural Programs) is looking for qualified interns to join our team. Sergio produces high-level online training and coaching for contemporary artists worldwide. The interns should be prepared to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment (remote and in-person) and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of online marketing. We are seeking ambitious individuals with great creativity and an aesthetic eye to join our team of creatives. You will be assisting with the full life cycle of videos from creation to final production. You will be working on organizational projects including interviews, reels, and social media content while working closely with our team. We offer a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
Assist in the production and delivery of online marketing materials.

Create, edit and deploy video content for social media and web.

Provide creative ideas for content creation.
Requirements

Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Premier, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with similar software is also accepted.

Experience in animation and graphic design is a plus.

Deadline is driven by an ability to work well in teams and individually

Able to work independently in a virtual environment.

Able to attend in-person meetings and shooting days once per week in our Chicago gallery.
